EPISODE 3 REVIEW

Game play: ~~~~~~~~~~~⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Length of Episode: ~~~~~⭐️⭐️⭐️ & ½

Plot: ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Excitement factor: ~~~~~~⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Hey everyone! Miss Brassheart here to give you the scoop on the long awaited Episode Three!
"Something is wrong in the Snowmoors. . . ."
That is the opening line in Ep. 3's trailer. The Snowmoors are melting, and if no one does anything about it, Aethasia will be flooded. Like, MASSIVE DISASTER flooded. So who's going to stop it? The Scarlet Man has plans. Like, BIG PLANS.
Game play easiness could definitely be debatable. Because you are required to have Episodes one and two, you really already know how to play and what to expect. The game is meant to be figured out by the player, which adds some challenge, but it is very satisfying to discover new features.
The length of the episode shorter than I expected. It wrapped up Season One nicely, but I expected more play-time. I've completed the main story line and it was released only two days ago. From what I've seen though, there are lots and lots of Job-Board quests to keep us all occupied!
The lessons that are taught throughout are not painfully obvious (like some games that try to teach lessons) but instead are masterfully woven into the story. It's more like learning from experience than having someone teach you. Nicely done! (This is also due to having the Bible as the main material! Haha!)
Several hair-raising moments and great plot turns add to the excitement of this episode. Of course, each episode's story is straight from the Bible. Can't go wrong there!
My favorite part about the Aetherlight is how they pick a Bible story, take the essence of the characters and the plot, and then add a steampunk-ish theme. Also, there are cleverly placed references to the Bible everywhere. #ThisIsMyFavoriteGame! #TheAetherlightRules! #GoAetherlight!

Emergency Message!
Goats have taken over Aethasia!!! Lukas had been experimenting on them, and accidentally let them escape! Everywhere in Aethasia (except for the airships; they couldn't get onto those ;) ) is now home to the scary Stragglers, the death-defying Alphas, the ominous Caretakers, and... I think I may have actually seen a BUCK TOOTH on the Old Mount!! Yikes!
Well, now is not the time to be scared! We have to go out and defeat those goats! Restore peace and order! There are also a hat and a pair of 4D glasses that can be recovered from the goats (It shows up in the reward wheel.) Team up with your pals for a better chance of success, and go get those goats!

Journal 0.8 ~ Theory time!
I think the Scarlet Man and the Great Engineer are two people, even though they both carry an Aether lamp.
the Great Engineer |
The Scarlet Man |
Aether lamp theory:
Matthew 5:14-15 New International Version (NIV)
14 “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house.
I’m thinking that the Aether lamp is a symbol of our — as Christians — light. Our light shines in the world and shows people that we are Christians. It could also represent the Bible, the truth, or the Holy Spirit. But I think that Aether represents all of them! Aether is gained when we do “good deeds” for the Resistance. So maybe the Great Engineer and the Scarlet Man both carry Aether lamps as a reference?

2 John 3 New International Version (NIV)
3 Grace, mercy and peace from God the Father and from Jesus Christ, the Father’s Son, will be with us in truth and love.
Allegorically (as it relates to the Bible) Jesus is God’s son. Does this mean that the Great Engineer is the Scarlet Man’s father? I think so!
I have a feeling that these questions and more will be answered in future episodes!

Journal 0.7
Dear Journal,
Let's talk feathers. I recently found out how to get them! In certain crafting recipes you need pink and/or fire feathers. The feathers are really hard to collect. You have to have purchased and activated episode 2 to get to the "L", an airship with the ability to attract birds. You have guessed it, that's how you get feathers!
First. You need to find a feeding station. There is one next to the Aetherstep, and one in Lily's cartography area. There is also one in the Below Decks area, but it is really hard to find and I do not recommend using it. You may not ever find it again! XD
Once you have decided on a feeding station, decide which color of feather you want. There are orange and pink, and they are pretty much equal as far as crafting recipes go. If you put an indigo petal into the feeding station, you will get a pink feather the next day. If you put a golden petal into the feeding station, you will get an orange feather the next day.
Hope this helps!

Journal 0.7 ~ Maps and Morals
Journal,
I recently crafted a map. The plans were from the Scarlet Man himself! It made me nervous, as I was crafting it, because one of the ingredients needed to craft the map was the Resistance Airship Radio! As you probably already know, that radio is the only way you can get on the Resistance Airship. No radio, no airship access! I ended up crafting the map anyway. Oh, I was very nervous as I opened the map. It was just that! A map! No way to teleport or anything like that! BUT THEN! I completed the rest of the red story-line quests and voila! All of a sudden the WORLD opened up to me! Using the technology of the Aetherstep, the map had the ability to teleport me all over the discovered world of Aethasia. The moral of this story is: don't be nervous about the Scarlet Man's plans, he has everything laid out to work to perfection.

Journal 0.6 ~ SECRET ROOM
Dear Journal,
I found a secret room, and it's beautiful. To get there, you must have Episodes 1 and 2. You may have seen a hint on some of the loading screens that say, "There are some reports of of a lost cavern on the Isle..." or something like that. Well. There is!
Hints to get there:
1. There's a way to get to it on the Isle.
2. Sometimes, the way is blocked by fog.
3. To get rid of the fog, go to enignE Ocean. Fill up the taerg enigne.
4. The path to the cavern is not in darkness.
5. Once you get in there, you have to find your way through a labyrinth.
6. And then, you have to fight (or avoid) to blow up the block.
Enjoy the search!

Journal 0.5 ~ How to get the cape!
There is a dress. (Suit for boys.) It's called the Shepard's Watch outfit. Not only is it amazing in itself, it has a... DUN DUN DUNNNNN DUN DUN DUNNNNNNN
CAPE!!!!
Everyone likes capes ;). So, how do you get this outfit, anyway? Hints: You don't win it in a battle. You don't get it by leveling up. That leaves one option!
How to get the cape:
- Go to Engine Bay, the place where you first came into Aethasia with Lukas.
- Stand in front of the campfire with the teapot on it.
- Turn left and go up into the water. Then turn right, so you are traveling around the center column. When you come out on the other side you should be behind the invention that keeps the fog away. It's kind of box shaped with a weird squeaking tube-y thing.
- To your right should be a lunch basket.
- Click the lunch basket.
- Click what's inside!
- You just got LUNCHABLES.
- Who needs the lunchables? I mean, they probably don't have a meal on some days.
- Their name starts with a G.
- If you left-click (or long-click on the app) on the item, you will see the description. Who dabbles in plants?
- Who do you get FLOWER IN A CANs from?
- Who likes tinkering? This should be an easy one ;)
- Since Emily isn't readily available, who is the only other lady?
- She is always in a chair.
- Have you seen a chest with a lock?
- Have you been to Smuggler's Cove?
- Did you use dynamite while you were there?
- Did you go in?

Journal 0.4 ~ New weapons T&T (Tips and Tricks)
Hey everyone! All kinds of new weapons have recently been released in episode 2. I'm here to give you the scoop on the first couple, as well as a few T&Ts to help you along in defeating automaton foes.
Dulcet Defensive Vambrace Gauntlet category
This spiffy new gauntlet is really something! Now you can have the ease of a gauntlet combined with the charge of the Tesla Hammer.
Water Pistols Pistol category
Along with a fancy attack style, these will surely bring success to your campaign. They apply Wetness, a useful tool in defeating your enemies if you know how to use it!
Combine Wetness with Shocked (You'll note that the DDV above gives Shocked to enemies!) and you get an electrifying %50 more damage! If you use the DDV and water pistols together as I suggested, you get 44 damage on all of the automatons you are fighting. IMPORTANT PLAN DETAIL: You only get the %50 bonus if you use water first and then electricity.
Thanks for reading!

EPISODE 2 IS OUT!!!!!!! IT'S FINALLY OUT!!!!!!!
WOO HOOOOOO! IT'S OUT! YEAH!
I am generally loving the new episode! Edmund and Julian are two racers on the same racing team, but constantly competing amongst themselves. I believe that Edmund and Julian are the Biblical equivalents of Esau and Jacob.
There are new outfits, new dyes, new weapons, new stories, a slightly new look, a wonderful, Biblical, and beautiful game! Keep up the good work, Aetherlight! There are a few glitches. . . one serious glitch that has stopped my progression in quests for now. I assume that will be fixed shortly though, so do not panic, Aethasians.
Pictures coming soon. Don't let me forget ;)

Flower time! Journal 0.2
You can grow flowers! WOO!
(You have to have purchased Episode 1 to access Lukas's workshop, where the flower seedlings are located.)
GROWING BLUE FLOWERS
Go into Lukas's workshop, and use a can on a seedling. You will then pick up FLOWER IN A CAN. Go to Urchin's Grotto and find a plot of dirt. When you click on the dirt, your character should say "That looks like fertile soil." Go ahead and drag your FLOWER IN A CAN to the dirt. The flower will be planted in the dirt, but at first it droops over and will not grow. Grab a WATERING CAN and use it on the dirt + flower. In a few days the flower will bloom, and you can collect the petals! Try to grow as many as you can, because A LOT of plans have flower petals in them.
GROWING GOLD FLOWERS
(You can only grow golden flowers after you have unlocked the Isle.)
Make sure you have a FLOWER IN A CAN and a WATERING CAN! Go to the Isle, and go up the first stairway. You now have an option: Turn left, or turn right. Turn right and go up the next ladder. You will probably have to fight an automaton. Once you get to the top, you will notice a little secret area. If you have never been here before, check out the free MINER'S HAT in the suitcase next to the house. You will also note that there are three, yes, three, plots of fertile soil. Follow the same procedure as above for GOLDEN PETALS, a very important crafting tool.
Hope you found this helpful!

Journal 0.1 ~ Get the goat
Dear Journal,
Today I'm going to tell you about the goat. Dun dun duuuun!
The goat is an automaton that likes to graze on trash in the Junkyard. Originally invented by Lukas, the goat became a problem after the attitude valve was calibrated! In one of the quests Lukas asks you to destroy it. In case you are struggling with defeating it, here are some tips:

- Come with your Aethermeter full so you can refresh your health. (If you don't have an Aethermeter yet, you will not be able to access the Junkyard.)
- Make sure you bring the umbrella weapon! You can use it to shield yourself right before the goat does his special charged attack.
- The goat's non-special attack is... fiery. Make sure you bring a water rifle or watering cans to extinguish the flame.
- If you have the plans for the golden hammer or if you have gyrostabilizers, bring them with you. It will help you stabilize yourself after the goat's special attack.
Hopefully this helps. If you are still having trouble, please contact me via the comments or the chatbox.
Bye for now~

Journal 0.0 ~ a New Beginning!
Dear Journal,
Today is my first day writing. I'm very excited! Unfortunately, I started this blog a little bit late... I'm already a level 15, the maximum level for now. According to my sources, the long awaited - long anticipated EPISODE 2 is going to be released in "a few weeks!"

Exciting times. ;)
Now... blast from the past...
B.A. (Before Aethermeter)
I am walking through Urchins Grotto. Wait, what is that? An apple core? A banana peel? I guess I'll click on it, since apparently I can pick it up. I wonder what it's for...
Okay, I clicked on it, and it disappeared. But wait, it is not in my inventory! What's it's purpose then? I guess I'll figure out later...
So, everyone, I will now explain this strange phenomenon.
Once you get an Aethermeter (You will build one in a quest), picking up garbage like this will give you Aether. If you don't yet have an Aethermeter, picking up apple cores and banana peels gives you nothing.
But why not pick it up anyway?
